Drumroll Please!

The video I captured this morning needed to be shared, so I will share a few more videos/pics I took over the last couple days too.

What? I'm not supposed to be IN the dishwasher?

Lennon loves to eat whole apples now. I have been holding off on giving him apple slices, because they aren't as soft as pears and bananas. But yesterday he decided to take big bites of my whole apple and love it. Guess apple slices are on the menu from now on.

Yesterday he learned that wooden spoons make great tools for banging. I have tried to let him drum on tupperware before, but yesterday he really got the hang of it!

Now, this is the best video. It's very short, but sweet!

Twelve Weeks

Wow, what a fun week! We are getting all set to head to Aruba and that's pretty much consuming our thoughts. Especially since it can't seem to stop snowing! One amazing distraction was our ultrasound today! Everything looked wonderful. Baby was doing what looked like "jump squats" and the heart rate was 165. Here is what he/she looked like today...

This weekend we also took Lennon's birthday pictures! We will wait to post them until his birthday invites have gone out, but here is a preview. Luck would have it, we caught his new favorite silly face... Elvis!

And lastly, here is the week 12 picture. I must have been bloated when we took it, because I look huge! I even lost a pound this week, so I was surprised by this photo. Oh well, it is what it is!  Baby is healthy, and that's all we care :)

I will post again once we are back from our tropical travels. Bon Voyage!

Cheeseball

We have always called Lennon a ham. I swear the child was born smiling. But now his cheese factor is multiplying. In the last couple of days he has started making tons of silly faces to make you laugh. Our favorite of yesterday was the Elvis lip and scrunched brow. I am trying my hardest to get a photo. Another favorite is the kissy lips and looking up. I did get a photo of that!

Here's to our little class clown!

Eleven Weeks

Feeling so much better this week! The nausea I had been experiencing is totally gone. Thank the Lord! I am still very tired though. My tank of energy runs out at about 8:30 each night and I have to head to bed (or fall asleep on the couch). Only a couple more weeks and hopefully that will subside.

Lennon is getting soooo close to walking! We know it will be any day now that he will take those first steps. As of now, he will thrust his body from one place to another, so he doesn't have to take an actual "step". But, it's progress. We are not sure we are ready for him to be running around quite yet anyways. He is such a fast crawler as it is, we can hardly keep up!

Lot's of snow, and a little more on the way. We are so excited to spring to be here. There are some 40 and 50 degree temps in the forecast, let's hope they are right about that!

Ten Weeks

Pregnancy number 2 is moving right along! We are 1/4 of the way complete. Baby's heart rate was 172 at our appointment today. It was so wonderful to hear that little noise. What made it even better, was to watch Lennon dance to it like it was a song. So precious! This past week I have started to feel much better. The constant icky feeling I have been experiencing has passed. I am still tired and feel like going to bed at 7pm, but hopefully that will be gone soon too. Pat and I are trying to stay healthy even though Lennon has ANOTHER cold. We are so ready for spring to be here.

So Happy I Could Cry!

Lennon has been napping for two hours. I never thought I would say those words. I am sitting in the living room in silence and calm and it makes me so happy. I love Lennon more than I could ever say, but finally having long naps during the day is a God send. I have never been so happy to have time to take a shower!
