Lennon Update #17 (from 12/30/11)

Happy New Year Everyone!  This week's update is short and sweet direct from momma Chelsey. We hope everyone is having some nice time off of work and getting excited for 2012.

Here is whats going on this week!

How far along? 25 weeks
Total weight gain: 13.5 lbs
Maternity clothes? yes, and loving having a bunch of days off for the holidays to be in comfy clothes!
Stretch marks? no
Sleep: Sleeping alright these days. Once in a while I wake up with side cramps and that's a little annoying.
Best moment this week:  Christmas fun! It was so wonderful to spend time with our great family. We are so blessed to have an amazing and supportive family. Lennon even got some fun Christmas presents. He is a spoiled little boy already!
Miss Anything? Nope!
Movement: Oh yeah, lots and lots of movement. Lennon is getting really strong in there.
Food cravings: Mac N Cheese again!  Annie's Organic Aged Cheddar mac n cheese is so delicious these days. Still eating Kashi Go Lean and bananas each day too.
Anything making you queasy or sick: meat in general ...bleh!
Labor Signs: No
Symptoms: Itchy belly and possible PUPPPS. I have little red bumps on my belly that itch. Dr. Newland is watching them to make sure they don't develop into PUPPPS or pruritic urticarial papules and plaques of pregnancy. Right now all I can do is to use hydrocortisone or take Benadryl before bed if it's itchy.  There is medicine that I can take if it does develop into PUPPPS. Let's pray it doesn't!
Belly Button in or out? still big, but seems to be getting more shallow each day.
Wedding rings on or off? on
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!
Looking forward to: The new year! I can't believe that 2012 is here. So much will happen in 2012 and I am sure most of it we aren't even aware of yet.
Interesting Fact: If Lennon was born this week, he would have a 50% chance of survival. Just another reason to continue to be thankful for a wonderfully healthy pregnancy and to pray it continues to go smoothly for the next 15 weeks.

Much love,

Chelsey, Patrick and Lennon
