I am kind of busy at work this week so I am not going to write an update this week. I thought I would just send Chelsey’s info that she sends to me and give you the interesting baby developments. Don't forget to send me your guesses for the baby pool and if you can think of a good prize let me know. Thanks!
This week’s big development is the baby can now move amniotic fluid through his or her nose and upper respiratory tract. This is helping the baby develop his or her little lungs. One cool thing is the baby’s eyelids are fused shut but he or she can sense light. If we were to shine a flashlight on Chelsey’s stomach the baby would move out of the way.
How far along? 15 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 128.5 to 132 (3.5 lbs)
Maternity clothes? This week I broke out a pair of maternity corduroys that mom bought me… they are awesome for the cold weather and super cute!
Stretch marks? No
Sleep: Sleeping great, minus waking up to pee every night at 2 am.
Best moment this week: Now that my belly button is stretching out and getting bigger, I discovered I have a mole on the inside of my belly button. I was so excited about this for some reason (Pat can attest)
Miss Anything? The little movement I felt last week… ready to feel it again!
Movement: None this week… L
Food cravings: I don’t feel like I craved anything this week. However, I have eaten Chili 5 times for dinner or lunch…
Anything making you queasy or sick: nope!
Have you started to show yet: more this week for sure
Gender prediction: Girl
Labor Signs: No
Belly Button in or out? In… (see best moment of the week)
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!
Looking forward to: Feeling the baby move consistently and finding out the gender in a month!
--Side Note: Thinking back on it, this week was frustrating. I am totally blessed to be feeling well and have most of my energy back. I feel like I am just stuck in this in between time between appointments and when I still can’t feel the baby moving. I know I just need to be patient and it will happen, I just want to make sure everything is alright.
